Built to Hold
Its Ground

"Why do we replace garments that were never built to last?"

RISING ATELIER began with a direct question, and a refusal to accept the answer most brands had settled for.

The ASCENT Hoodie is not seasonal merchandise.

It is a structural object.

Cut from 480–500 GSM French Terry, 100% organic cotton, brushed for volume and stability, the fabric holds its form. The hood maintains its crown. The body falls straight without collapsing under its own weight or yours.

Brand markings are integrated through high-density woven jacquard. Tonal. Precisely constructed. Present without declaration.

This is architectural softwear.

No excess. No replication. Production follows commitment.

The Doctrine

Three Pillars

01 — GROUNDED

Materials sourced with intention.
Production conducted with ethical restraint.
Every decision traced to a principle, not a trend.
The land that made this garment matters as much as the garment itself.

02 — UNBROKEN

Every seam reinforced. Every stitch deliberate.
Constructed to retain structure through sustained wear.
Not built to look permanent, built to be permanent.
The Throne Test is not a marketing claim. It is a standard.

03 — RISING

Forward motion. Mythic continuity.
Each structure builds on the last.
This is not a brand, it is a continuum.
The ascent is architectural, not seasonal.

Weight of Structure

GSM is not a specification.
It is a philosophy.

Grams per square meter measures fabric density. The amount of material compressed into each unit of cloth. Higher GSM means a garment that holds its shape, resists pilling, and outlasts its owner's expectations. Most brands treat weight as a cost variable. We treat it as the primary design decision.

Composition

The Architecture of the Garment

Fibre & Finish

  • 100% Organic Ring-Spun Cotton
  • 480–500 GSM Heavyweight French Terry
  • High-Density Knit Structure
  • Brushed Interior for Volume & Stability
  • Enzyme Washed
  • Deep Black. Low Sheen

Engineered for structure.

Built to hold its form.
Made to endure.

Structural Details

  • Reinforced drop-shoulder seams — triple-stitched
  • Double-needle hem binding — resists rollback
  • Taped interior neck — eliminates stretch-out
  • Flat-lock construction throughout the body
  • Throne Test certified — seam integrity under full load

Unbroken is not a word. It is a construction standard.

Every stress point is identified and re-engineered. The shoulder seam carries the garment's structural load — it receives triple stitching and internal tape binding. The Throne Test simulates full sitting body weight on the back seam. This is passed before any unit leaves the factory.

Silhouette Specifications

  • Foundation Fit — relaxed through the shoulder
  • Subtle taper at waist — not boxy, not slim
  • Hip-to-mid-thigh length at all sizes
  • Available in S, M, L, XL, 2XL

A silhouette that doesn't negotiate with the body — it accommodates it.

Pure Form — hood without drawstrings. Clean crown geometry. Architectural at rest.

Functional Form — hood with drawstrings. Full utility retained. Same structural weight.

ACTUAL BLACK — #2A2A2A

  • Deep black. Low sheen.
  • Engineered for structure.
  • Built to hold its form.
  • Made to endure.

Color achieved through controlled dyeing.

Depth maintained. No artificial sheen.

This is not seasonal merchandise.
This is architectural softwear.

NFC Authentication

Every unit carries its own record.

Embedded in the lining of every Ascent Hoodie is an NFC tag. A tamper evident digital anchor that links the physical garment to its permanent provenance record. Tap once. No app required.
