Craft · Chapter I

How The Ascent Hoodie is Created.

The Ascent Hoodie is not assembled through convenience. It is engineered through sequence — each phase designed to preserve permanence, precision and identity.
01 Design

Design in Montreal.

Every garment begins in Montreal. This is where proportion, silhouette and structure are defined.

The goal is not decoration. It is to create architectural balance — something that feels permanent before it is even worn.

The Ascent Hoodie was built to feel disciplined, not excessive.

02 Pattern

Pattern development.

Patterns are refined through multiple iterations.

Each adjustment alters how the garment hangs, folds and responds in motion.

This process ensures the final form carries structure without stiffness.

“Craft is where philosophy becomes physical.”

03 Manufacturing

Portuguese manufacturing.

Production takes place in Portugal, chosen for its heritage in premium garment construction.

Each factory partner follows exact tolerances and finishing requirements.

Precision here protects permanence later.

04 Fabric

Fabric selection.

The foundation begins with material.

Rising Atelier selected heavyweight Portuguese fleece for density, structure and longevity.

Weight determines presence. Texture determines memory.

05 Construction

Construction.

Construction is the discipline of assembly.

Each seam is reinforced for tension, shape retention and structural integrity.

The objective is endurance — the garment must retain form over years of wear.

06 Embroidery

Embroidery.

Embroidery serves as permanence through detail.

Applied with exact stitch density, every mark becomes part of the artifact’s identity.

It is not branding. It is inscription.

07 UV Covenant

UV Covenant.

Hidden authentication is embedded through ultraviolet covenant markings.

Invisible in ordinary conditions, visible only through verification.

This layer creates a second level of proof — known only to the owner and registry.

08 NFC

NFC installation.

Each garment receives an embedded NFC authentication point.

This allows instant verification of provenance and ownership history.

Physical craft meets digital permanence.

09 Inspection

Quality inspection.

Every finished garment undergoes individual inspection before approval.

Shape, stitch integrity, embroidery precision, UV verification and NFC functionality are checked manually.

Nothing enters the archive unfinished.

10 Packaging

Packaging.

Packaging is the final ritual before transfer.

Each artifact is sealed with its certificate, authentication layers and ownership identity.

Arrival should feel ceremonial — not like receiving clothing, but receiving evidence.

Discover Ownership →

Craft establishes physical permanence. Ownership protects its history.

Continue into the ownership system — where authentication, provenance and registry become permanent.
